  1. USCIS is ridiculous to make people wait long months after RFE received. Another one
  2. @smilingstone sure i understand that but i have wait for more than 2 months for responding from them and will have to wait more. my case has been on hold for 5 months. almost half a year. ridiculous. madness. it put a strain on my relationship. almost outside of normal processing time. i dont know if i can continue waiting. For example, see this case below. not sure if they give out their decision notice to that person yet but waiting that long is ridiculous.
  3. recently i have been focusing on RFE received to approval. i been wondering about this myself also. Some may take within 1 month, other 2 months and so on. I have recently found a case that took 4 months. USCIS seems to slow down on giving decision lately. hopefully everyone gets a speedy approval after waiting for a long time.
  4. thank you for answering. i am curious. i am waiting for decision as well
  5. Dear all, what is the common denial reason of I-129F application or if your case was denied, what was the reason? Also If your case was denied, share experience of the next step. Thanks
  6. Hello all. In my case the Petitioner has criminal records and he didnt submit all the required documents about his criminal records. that is why we got RFE. There is a few things concerned me. 1 is the Assault with Deadly Weapon charge against his ex wife. 2 is involuntary manslaughter and he also got a restraining order that already ended that his ex wife file against him. I worry that we may get denied cuz of IMBRA. the RFE requests us to submit more information regarding the offenses and write a statement explaining the situation of those cases. Do we have a chance of approval? I appreciate all inputs. Thanks all.
  7. Hello. I got RFE for my case. USCIS want me to submit the missing police records for my offenses. I already submitted the court records. Should I resubmit the court records again along with the police records or only the police records? I also have to write a statement for my restraining order explaining the situation at the time it happened. Does anyone have a sample statement that I can take a look? I appreciate all the help. Thanks all.
  8. USCIS so slow and i am stressed beyond belief. it is really hard doing long distance relationship with my SO. we been waiting and waiting and waiting. i am super stressed.
  9. i receive no update to the cases on November 11 2024. i wonder if anyone has the same issue
  10. yeah USCIS is so slow and they increase the damn fee. i thought with the fees increase they will make the case processed faster but no. I am so disappointed.
  11. I feel bad lately that the processing time has increased. my NOA1 is like July 30 or August 1. I am confused about the dates. but anyway, it been almost 3 months with no thing yet. I am hoping to be there soon with my fiance. hopefully i can receive approval by the end of this month or next month. I am hoping to move to the US at the beginning of next year or the latest by March so I dont miss my fiance's birthday.
  12. @ToNhi well then dont include any sign. just say that this is the engagement. few pictures will be ok if they ask to see your pictures. you have to choose the engagement picture carefully. no ring exchange picture. if you have a party at the restaurant just show them those pictures at the restaurant only. cuz I know vietnamese ceremony more formal at home with the altar and decoration. picture in the traditional dress is ok no wedding dress picture. you only talk about the engagement if they ask. whatever they ask just tell them short and clear answer. no additional detail until being asked. you dont have to worry about your fiance cant speak English. you guys have a common language which is vietnamese is enough. that is all my suggestion for now. good luck.
  13. @ToNhi well if you bring your engagement party picture, make sure you have to include the word "le dinh hon" to make it clear to the consulate that this is the ENGAGEMENT. yes i read on here many people receive blue slips for going K1 but getting married in Vietnam is quite a hassle with lots of documents required. and the CR1 has longer waiting time than K1 this year. that is why we choose K1. I also prepare my documents and hope for the best for my interview since that is all i can do. this website has many useful info. good luck. hope you can share your interview experience with us later on.
  14. @ToNhi, I am also from Vietnam. I think you should not include "Le Vu Quy" sign for the interview. "Le Dinh Hon" is ok as dinh hon means engagement while "Vu Quy" usually for wedding. I also file for K1 and dont do any ceremony cuz i read many info on VJ here that the Consulate can misinterpret the engagement ceremony as a wedding. I also worry about the interview myself as the consulate in HCM is tough on K1. anyway, good luck on your interview.
  15. Hi all. Right now I and my fiance is just at NOA1 stage and the estimate says that maybe in Oct 2024 I will receive decision. I hope for that. I know timeline estimate on this website is for reference only. However I wonder if the timeline correctly predict the date to your case?
